Why should I choose a travel advisor?

I earn commissions from travel suppliers, so booking accommodations with me doesn’t cost you anything extra. For more complex trips, there will be a planning fee, but I’ll always be transparent about it. My goal is to offer value and expertise to help you get the most out of your trip.

How do you get paid, and will it cost me more to book through you?

I work exclusively with trusted partners to ensure your vacation is fully protected. Should any unexpected issues arise, I’m available to help find solutions, and we will also discuss travel insurance options that offer extra peace of mind. You’ll always have a safety net in place.

How can I be sure my trip is secure?

Each destination has its own requirements for travel documentation. This is something we’ll go over together when planning your trip, so you’ll be prepared well in advance with everything you need—no surprises.

Do I need a passport or a visa?

Yes, travel insurance is highly recommended! While it’s not mandatory, it can provide valuable coverage in case of unexpected events like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions. We’ll discuss your options during the planning process so you can make an informed decision based on your needs and destination.

Should I consider travel insurance?

That’s no problem! Just send me your booking details at irelynd@Nicer.travel, and I’ll check if I can enhance your reservation with added perks or upgrades at no additional cost.

 What if I’ve already booked my hotel?

I currently focus on booking full-fare business and first-class tickets, excluding points or miles redemptions. The airline industry can be unpredictable, so extra fees may apply, but I’ll help you navigate the best options to suit your travel needs.

Do you book flights?

It’s always better to plan ahead! While 4-6 months is a great window for most trips, some popular destinations fill up even earlier. To ensure you secure your ideal accommodations and experiences, it’s best to get in touch as soon as you’ve set your travel dates. For special trips like honeymoons, I recommend booking 8-12 months in advance for the best options.

 How early should I book?

Working with me is a breeze – I promise! My goal is simple: to take the stress off your shoulders and make your travel experience seamless and enjoyable.

The Process

Begin by filling out a detailed form with your travel preferences to help me understand your needs, style, and expectations.

Complete the Travel Preferences Form:

Once the form is submitted, book a 30-minute call through my Calendly. 

Schedule a Call:

We’ll discuss your vision for the trip. I’ll take notes to ensure every detail is captured.

Initial Call:

After our call, I’ll curate personalized proposals for you to review, delivered within two weeks.

Tailored Proposals:

After you’ve reviewed the proposals, we’ll schedule another call to finalize the details, making any necessary adjustments.

Review & Finalize:

Once the details are set, I’ll send a card authorization form to confirm your booking (excluding flights). You can handle flights directly or work with my flight desk for the best options.

Booking:

A few days before departure, we’ll have a final call to go over any last-minute details and ensure everything is ready.

Pre-Trip Call:

Depending on your destination, you’ll receive a City Travel Guide and be set up with an itinerary app that keeps you updated with trip details.
